It occurred to me after the last post that a lot of religions emerged from the desert. Maybe because it's a place where death is just a little bit closer than usual:

I'm planning a big overhaul of my website in the coming few weeks, so all the rest of the SW pics will be up then, and we'll likely be away from the sun-baked desert and back to rain-soaked Manchester for the next blog postings!
